My year old puppy peed all over my carpet, I was going to have to get rid of my carpeting or him! I decided I'd try one more thing so I cleaned my carpet and then used the UV light to find out the areas I needed to spray. After spraying he stopped peeing on most spots immediately, others took a little longer as he was in the habit of going there so I kept spraying every time he went and wow! he stopped. Although the UV light shows some spots you can't see them with the naked eye and there is no smell. I've tried other stuff but My Pet Peed really does work.
